Mathias Busk

Personal Trainer & Physiotherapist

Who is Mathias

Mathias is calm, attentive and approachable. He creates an atmosphere where you can focus fully on what matters and let go of everything that doesn't. His presence is steady and professional, and the calm he brings into the room is something his clients notice from the very first session.

He focuses on what is important and cuts away the rest. Not because the rest doesn't exist — but because he knows that too many inputs rarely help anyone move forward.

Background and experience

Mathias has worked as a physiotherapist and personal trainer for many years and has helped hundreds of clients train safely and effectively — including many who came to him with pain, injuries or uncertainty about what was even possible for them. His clinical background gives him a solid foundation for working with people regardless of their starting point, and his results are consistent: clients who get stronger, stick to their training and feel better.

He continuously keeps up to date with the latest knowledge in physiotherapy and strength training and actively uses data in his approach. He is evidence-based in everything he does — but data is never a goal in itself for him. It is a tool.

"Data is only relevant if we use it for something. Otherwise it's just noise." – Mathias Busk, personal trainer and physiotherapist

How Mathias works

Mathias is precise. He quickly sees what the decisive focus point is for you, and he communicates it in a way that makes sense. Clear cues, simple communication and realistic adjustments. You don't just understand what needs to be done, but why it works and how to repeat it on your own.

At Nordic we work from a shared system — a structured approach that ensures every session has direction and purpose. Mathias delivers that system with the calm and precision he is known for. He corrects technique with a sharp eye for detail, connects with you in a way that makes you feel safe and focused, and puts things in a context that is relevant to your life and your goals.

His approach is structured and realistic, with a focus on quality, learning and steady development. He helps you understand your body better — and to train with a confidence that lasts far beyond the individual session.

Mathias outside the gym

Mathias runs two to three times a week and follows our full body programme twice weekly. He practises what he sets his clients to — and meets them with the same persistence and clarity he lives by himself. He knows firsthand what it means to create structure in a busy everyday life and stay the course over time.
