Short Answers About Personal Training
How do I get started with personal training?
Start by booking a free conversation. We meet (in person or by phone) and talk about your goals, your everyday life, and your background. You get honest answers — and if we're the right place for you, we reserve your fixed training times.
Do I need experience to begin?
No, not at all. Most start as beginners or after a long break. You'll be guided all the way with a program that fits your level — focus is on technique and gradual progress.
How often should I train?
You only need to train 1–2 times a week to see real results. Our programs are made for busy people who want long-term progress — without spending countless hours at the gym.
How many PT sessions do I need?
Most start with 12 sessions over 6–12 weeks. That's typically enough to build routines, improve technique, and see real results. Many choose to continue with regular training after that.
What does a personal trainer actually do?
Your personal trainer handles everything — planning, technique, motivation, and follow-up. You train safely and efficiently, without having to figure it out yourself.
What results can I expect?
Within 6–12 weeks, most feel stronger, see improved technique, and have more energy in everyday life. We track your results each session, so you can see your progress — without overtraining or having to start over.
Is it possible to train in English?
Yes — all communication, coaching, and app content is available in English. We work with many international clients in Copenhagen.
How qualified are the coaches at Nordic Performance Training?
All our personal trainers are specialists in strength training with backgrounds in physiotherapy or other healthcare areas. You get your fixed trainer who understands your goals, your situation, and your needs.
How is personal training at Nordic Performance Training different from a regular gym?
We're not just a place to train — we're a complete training concept that ensures progress. You train at fixed times with your personal trainer in private surroundings without distractions. Every session is tracked, adjusted, and brings you closer to your goals.
Do I get a fixed weekly training time, or can I schedule flexibly?
You get a fixed weekly training time — same time, same trainer, every week. That means no booking stress and no competition for available spots. Fixed structure creates momentum and results.
Can I reschedule my personal training sessions if something comes up?
No — fixed times are part of the training concept, because it gives you and your trainer the best structure. If your schedule varies a lot, you can start with fewer weekly sessions or find a time that consistently works for you.
Should I get a personal trainer or do it myself?
If you want measurable results, a personal trainer is worth the money. You avoid experimenting and train efficiently — because you get the program that works and professional guidance all the way.
Do I need a personal trainer to lose weight?
Not necessarily — but it helps. A trainer makes sure you stick to the routine, get stronger, and avoid starting over all the time. We think long-term — not about quick solutions.
