Who is Mikkel

Background and experience
Mikkel has many years of experience as both a physiotherapist and personal trainer and has helped hundreds of clients get started, stick with it and achieve results that last. His background in clinical practice gives him a solid foundation for working with people regardless of their starting point — and a sharp sense of when to push and when the most important thing is to hold back.
Mikkel has helped people across very different starting points — those starting completely from scratch, those returning after years away from training, and those rehabilitating after an injury. What they all have in common is that they left stronger and more confident than when they started. He continuously keeps up to date with research in strength training and physiotherapy and is evidence-based in everything he does. His communication is precise and down to earth — you always know what is happening, what you need to do next and why it makes sense.

Mikkel is grounded in expertise and practical in his approach. He works from Nordic's shared system — a structured approach that ensures training has direction and purpose from the very first session. He delivers that system with the calm and presence he is known for.
He corrects technique precisely, creates safety in the room and puts things in a context that makes sense for you and your life. He asks questions, listens actively and builds the training around what you actually need — not just a standard plan. He takes the time to understand what the right next step is for you and makes sure you leave every session with clarity and confidence.

Mikkel outside the gym
Outside the gym you will find Mikkel on the road with his bike or on hiking trips in nature. He follows our full body programme twice a week and knows firsthand what it takes to stay the course over time.
